Cosmos is  Algerian brand of comfortable and casual footwear. It was founded by three Algerian brothers — Chakib, Abdelillah, and Hichem — as their first family brand. With their combined expertise in marketing and business, they set out to create a label that blends local culture with modern design. Cosmos offers footwear that is stylish, comfortable, and versatile, ranging from classic and sporty models to casual everyday shoes. Their mission is to make high-quality footwear accessible while celebrating Algerian craftsmanship and identity. Today, Cosmos designs products for both men and women, ensuring that everyone can enjoy footwear that combines elegance, comfort, and authenticity.

Cosmos inspiration and style

Cosmos draws inspiration from the trendiest shoes of the season, offering styles reminiscent of internationally acclaimed designs. For example, their loafers take cues from the elegant Loro Piana collection, while their clogs resemble the popular Birkenstock Boston. Many other Cosmos products echo the style and quality of high-end global brands, but at a more accessible price. 

What sets Cosmos apart is that all their shoes are designed and crafted in Algeria, combining international style with local craftsmanship, making them both stylish and affordable without compromising on quality.

Business Launching

Cosmos began its journey by selling products online, quickly gaining recognition for its quality and style. Building on this success, the brand opened its first showroom in Algiers. Today, Cosmos has grown into a national presence, with two stores in Algiers, one in Oran in western Algeria, and another in Batna in the east. This expansion reflects the brand’s commitment to bringing Algerian-made footwear closer to customers across the country.

Cosmos is highly active on social media, especially Instagram, which serves as its main platform to connect with Algerian customers and expand its presence in online marketing. The brand collaborates with influencers in creative ways to keep followers engaged and updated with fresh, interesting content. This strategy ensures that the community remains active and connected without ever feeling bored. Today, Cosmos has built a strong digital presence, with more than 136K followers on Instagram, reflecting its growing popularity and influence in Algeria’s fashion scene.

Cosmos doesn’t only create footwear — the brand also designs wallets made from natural leather. These wallets are crafted to be simple, small, and practical, perfectly suited for everyday use. They come in elegant and timeless colors such as blue, brown, and black, with a minimalistic design that reflects both style and functionality.
